About Coach Adamson

Coach Erik Adamson is a former DI lacrosse coach and NCAA DI Champion. More importantly, he was born and raised in Southern California and uniquely understands the pathway from the West Coast to collegiate lacrosse.

Playing Experience

Erik played at the University of Denver under hall of fame head coach Bill Tierney and current University of Denver head coach Matt Brown. He led the Pioneers to an NCAA Championship in 2015 and NCAA final four appearances in 2013 and 2014. Coach Adamson was drafted in the second round of the MLL and played for the Denver Outlaws.

DI Coaching Experience

Coach Adamson has a wealth of experience coaching at the highest level of our sport. Most recently he served as the Offensive Coordinator at Lafayette College for the ‘23 and ‘24 seasons under head coach Pat Myers. Prior to his time with the Leopards, he coached at the University of Denver for four seasons with legendary coach Bill Tierney, Matt Brown, and John Gallant.

High School & Club Coaching

Coach Adamson has nearly a decade of experience coaching High School, Youth, and Club Lacrosse. He has served as Club Director for the Denver Elite Lacrosse Club, Camp Director for DU Lacrosse Youth Camps, Goalie Evolution Academy coach, and Offensive Coordinator for Regis Jesuit High School in Denver, Colorado.
